A Fat Diet Plan Getting New Meaning
This is how Lisa's fat diet plan story goes….She says…
My story is quite usual but nevertheless worth telling. I am almost 47 and living in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas. The diet here of large plates of food with plenty of red meat is normal and expected by my husband and children. Of course I like it too! Unfortunately this does not make for slim and trim figures.

In fact it is quite the opposite. A lot of us Texas gals dream of being slim and trim, hey, let's face it, we would settle for just being pleasantly plump. Sadly many of us, me included, are just plain fat.
Or were!!!
Over many years I have been looking for a fat diet plan that works as I'm approaching menopause in only 2 to 5 years. I have tried the low crab diet, I've tried the lettuce and tomato diet, I have tried a low GI and a low fat diet and many more. I might lose weight for a while as soon as I stop it all comes back, often with interest.

Most fat diet plans insist we eat tiny bits of lettuce and dried biscuits, drink only water and workout every day. Let's face it life is too short! The diet solution goes about it in a different way. If you expect a low fat diet plan, you'll be disappointed because this approach to calories, fats, protein and carbs is not at all mainstream.
Basically it explains that we each metabolize our food in different ways; there are those that metabolize proteins, those that metabolize carbohydrates and others who manage a mixture. So the first step is to learn what type of metabolism you have. Once you have got this it is a fairly easy step to find out which foods you metabolize easily and which foods should be avoided at all costs. Pretty soon you find that many foods you considered healthy aren’t. In fact often they line the belly and go straight on the hips.

To understand how this works really need to understand about sugar/insulin balance. Most of the carbohydrates that we eat metabolize into sugar. If your body has too high a sugar level then the body starts storing fat. If your blood sugar is too low when you get overcome by hunger pangs and tend to binge feed (at least I do).
To maintain your blood sugar level in the center fat burning zone is really easy as long as you are eating the right foods. Most fat diet plans don't tell you this, so often we ended up eating things that are meant to be healthy that in fact lead to a blood sugar high.
Does this mean that you are going to be eating bland tasteless foods? No, it doesn't. In fact she gives diets and recipe books for all sorts of meals which are really satisfying, tasty and easy to prepare. My shopping budget hasn't increased and my family is happy.
The best thing of all is that instead of a fat diet plan making me fatter the Diet Solution has meant I have bought jeans 3 sizes smaller than I have been able to get into for ten years.
